Stress panic attacks

Panic attacks are a sign of turbulence subconscious, the stress of normal life, or a normal reaction?
Anxiety will build to such an extent that it becomes a normal reaction to many thoughts every day, and situations? Why the anxiety can build up in this way? Have you had an experience with panic disorder, and how you overcome it?
They probably start as a combination of subconscious turmoil (eg, guilt) and extreme stress. Then, when you have a panic attack, you get so anxious and afraid to have another really cause you to have one. It then becomes a "reaction" to a specific location, activity or thought. Edit: I have panic disorder now, have been with him more than 2 years. I was just sitting in my office one day and it was like something broke in my head and I started thinking "What if I have HIV?" There was anything that caused it, besides the extreme amount of stress I was under. I proceeded to Dr. where my test was negative. But I kept doubting the results. Almost daily I would have these obsessive thoughts that lead me shaking and crying and just generally freaking out. I started 50 mg Zoloft, have learned some coping skills, and now I'm out of zoloft and do much better. I still have the occasional attack, but not daily and I know how to control it now.
