My brother, 54, has PTSD, and through therapy and medication, was able to overcome most of their problems. He was always a loving man and compassionate, the only misjudgment was love not hard enough on their children, but we all learn from our mistakes. While I have known him, he was always generous to me, not only on time but also financially. I am a survivor too, and my three children and my two grandchildren are survivors. I took my son, who will be 21 in two weeks, to make me realize that I still consider myself as a victim. My son is a talented and compassionate man, and he has PTSD. My Brother and son are my heroes.
