How to Overcome and Treat Anxiety and Panic Attacks

You can join the armed forces have had panic attacks or depression?
I'm not asking for reccomendations, etc. However, anyone know for sure if the military forbids people to join on the basis of panic attacks with depression or in the past? Someone knows someone who was rejected by that? Edit 2: this would be the Marine Corps, female … ie without combat situations
I am a veteran of the wife and I were Desert Storm … so do not think that women are much protected from combat. We're not going to the infantry, but we still go to where they are fighting, and you will still be at risk. Modern military women are in harms way now. It is so stressful for women as for men. Women are most of the jobs that men and go through the same training. I admit that there are some jobs that some men just have to be tougher, but not the idea that the military is easier for women. The depression / panic attacks, receiving a medical discharge will be very difficult. It really depends for how long and what type of treatment was used. In most cases the answer is no. There is a case, some situations-by-case basis, where you can get exemption … but not very likely.
