Nervous breakdown

Mental breakdown is known as nervous breakdown in medical terms. It is generally used to describe a person who is experiencing a mental illness, as depression or anxiety. In the yesteryears, this disorder was known as melancholia, vapors, neuralgic disease, neurasthenia and prostration.

At first, all doctors and medical professionals thought that it is a disorder of the nervous system. Then later, they realized that the disorder is due to an illness in one's mind. The nomenclature in the world today includes a number of clinical diagnoses that are present in the DSM-IV. The DSM-IV includes psychotic episode schizophrenic, manic break, posttraumatic stress disorder, panic attack.

A mental breakdown is a state of emotional stress or psychologically intense, but not a word publicly coined doctor. Symptoms of a more serious mental disorder are commonly interpreted as a mental breakdown. One disaster mental breakdown can be more aptly described as a brief psychotic experience that is totally out of touch

Causes of mental breakdown:
A nervous breakdown is mainly due to exposure to extreme temperatures or constant voltage overwhelming. The examples of men and women are given by a man could return from a war, whereas he could have entered it in a normal state.

In the case of a woman, a woman could have been perfectly normal until she gave birth to a son, then she can be with a postpartum depression. In short, breakdown can occur to anyone at any point in time. Some people damage that was about to happen. The reason this type of depression is due to genetic disorder such as schizophrenia or bi polar depression.

The effects of mental breakdown can lead to difficulty concentrating at work or other related things. When changing from one thing to another, the person may become disoriented and forget what he was doing. The patient may also feel angry and irritated for a very long time. The person may also appear frequently late for work.

The person can stop finding joy in anything and this negativity is installed forever. He could also have sleep problems leading to insomnia. You can also get to fall ill frequently and also experience severe headaches. A perfect example of mental collapse, is that one day we could go to work and feel very depressed. A person may not be able to get off it. The person may feel frustrated and almost non-functional.
