Anxiety is experienced as a feeling of extreme apprehension, fear, worry or fear. The fearfullness experienced by someone suffering from disorder panic however, are not rationally justified. Here are some tips that helped:

Take up yoga seriously! Anything that deepens your breathing and help the earth in its body that helps to eliminate the panic and anxiety. Yogic meditation after doing the postures of hatha yoga can be very helpful as well.

CBT or cognitive behavioral therapy. CBT can be very effective, since it focuses on the irrational thought patterns and feelings that underlie panic disorder. Unfortunately, it can be very expensive and is effectiveness varies according to the skills of the therapist and the willingness of you to really change.

Medication-medication, of course, is widely prescribed for panic. Of course you should consult a qualified medical practitioner to obtain these drugs. If you take too many you could go the way of Elvis Presley. Medication reduces the severity of the panic and help calm. You may be living in a very stressful environment or situation that taking these medications are needed for you to chill, relax and take it slow. The biggest problem for the medical approach is the toxic side effects of drugs and the fact that you are only control your panic not eliminate it.
