Method # 1 – First of all, do not fight it! This is the biggest problem that people have. Often when people feel the beginning of a panic attack, feel the need to try to control it immediately and fight it. However, this is the worst thing you can do. The more you try to fight your panic attack, the more likely you will really have a panic attack. This is because as you try to fight it, you get more scared that they will not be able to fight it. So the first thing you have to do is learn not to try fight them. Let things happen naturally.

Method # 2 – The second tip is to tell if you're well. Now this may sound silly, but is something that is comforting to the mind when people say to yourself that you are well. That does not mean you have to say out loud and feel dizzy. Means you just need to tell yourself in your mind, you're right, that nothing is happening, and there is nothing to panic. Half the time, that will control the panic attack immediately, without having to do anything else.

Method # 3 – The third step is all about breathing. When people start to panic, do not breathe right, and so, your heart rate begins to spiral out of control. When you feel a panic attack coming, you must learn to control your breathing. This can help you control panic attacks. Although this seems to be one of the easiest steps then it is not. This is because people forget to breathe, and is the first thing that starts to get out of hand. Once you stop breathing right, panic attack begins to arrive in full force.

Method # 4 – The fourth step would be to relax. Take a second to regroup and relax the muscles. You will notice that when you're having a panic attack, a lot of your muscles start to lock up with panic. This makes it difficult to move, and not only that, but that does not help your already out of control panic attack. So, just take a second to yourself to relax and clear your mind. Keep right to breathe and say that everything will be just nice.

Method # 5 – The fifth step is to remember that there is a set of cause panic attacks. Nobody knows for sure what causes the body to react this way.
